In 2016 we introduced Tartan designs to our range of fresh salmon branded products. These instantly recognisable Scottish patterns were so popular that we have now trademarked the ‘Tartan Salmon’ brand name to represent Scottish excellence in Japan.

Tartan Salmon is only farmed in Scotland, exclusively by Bakkafrost Scotland. It is raised in the remote Western Highlands and Islands and is 100% traceable from Loch to Plate.

Tartan Salmon is naturally high in Omega3 as our feed contains a minimum of 30% Marine Content diet, rich in EPA/DHA and always responsibly sourced.
